Rooms are dated, but clean. Location on the Nile is very nice and breakfast is very good. Staff are too pushy with tipping, making the stay unpleasant. Taxi drivers outside the hotel are also very pushy, making it difficult to sometimes leave the hotel.

The front desk staff, particularly Ms. Magda, provided an exceptional and highly professional welcome. The accommodations, though standard, included a very comfortable bed and pillows, and presented a stunning view of the Nile. Hotel was good. We were able to recharge and relax at the pool for a day. It is at the end of the main street which meant it was quiet but not far from anything. Only issue is we got sick from the food at the restaurant and it was a lot more expensive to eat in the hotel than right outside. Aside from the restaurants, everything else we enjoyed.
