Excellent location across from Hotel de Ville. Convenient to many attractions, restaurants, shopping and grocery store. Helpful staff. Basic breakfast but timely and sufficient. A good choice hotel for Lux City.

Great hotel for our few nights in Luxembourg. Room was spacious and clean an in a convenient/central location. Loved the breakfast that was included - big portion that kept us full until dinner!

We had a great stay. Hotel Vauban was exactly what they say they are. The rooms are small and the area is a bit noisy but it is right in the heart of things and so convenient. The breakfast had no choices but it was tasty and got us out the door. If you don’t need lots of space or fancy it is a good choice.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. We stayed in the apartment - super clean, comfortable and perfect for a family.Great location to explore Luxembourg City on foot, enjoy the Christmas markets and festivities and dine at one of many restaurants. Really one of our nicest family stays in Europe.

For the prize you can’t expect more. It’s situated perfect, but you can hear everything around you inside and out. So if you are a light sleeper this is not the place. Bed was too soft for my liking, room and hotel is very old. No aircon, no outputs to charge phones. Toilet paper holder fell down, it was put up with a suction cup. So cheap and run down all the way through. Breakfast was very simple, but I didn’t mind. Was fine for my short stay, but won’t come back

Great little hotel in an excellent hotel

The location was excellent - in the Williams II square and very close to a tram and bus stops which go directly to the Gare and the airport. Room was nice and clean. Simple and nice breakfast provided. Staff spoke English and very helpful and courteous!

The hotels location was what attracted me the most as it is easily walkable to all the highlights. The staff was super friendly the rooms are kept up and clean. The shower in our room was small for a big guy like myself but that would not stop me from staying here again.

We lucked OUT with this hotel! It sits on a large plaza that has recently completed major renovations and the view of the Saturday morning farmers' market was delightful. The Christmas markets are on the plaza behind the hotel, which was fun to see. The hotel is elegantly appointed and the included breakfast was delicious!

Great location

Excellent location, easy to find from the bus stop via the airport. Super friendly staff and no issues storing my bag pre check in and at check out. Stayed over a weekend and no noise/disruption from the building work in the square, imagine the views when this is complete are going to be amazing. Room was clean and warm and a very good shower, great when coming in from a cold day sightseeing. Breakfast was really tasty and needed as Sunday morning most cafes were closed.

Amazing Location

Highly recommend. Amazing location right in the center of everything. Spotless hotel with super friendly/helpful staff. Very quiet location. Highly recommend the walking tour of the city. The breakfast is traditional continental but would highly recommend the restaurant for lunch/dinner. Outstanding service, amazing food. Hotel is spotless

Location was perfect, right in the centre of town close to everything you may want to see. Clean comfortable room, but I did miss the use of a kettle in the room, and no irons in the room but available from the desk if needed. Breakfast is pleasant continental breakfast but again basic and no options.

Save your money

No air conditioning in the room. Old building where lift only goes down to the 1st floor (2nd floor), and it opens on every half floor, so you’ll be carrying your luggage both up and down no matter which room you book. Staff was the highlight, though. Very attentive and did the best they could.

We had two rooms, one markedly smaller than the other. Thight squeeze to move around the queen bed, barely enough space to put down my on-board case and open it. Bathroom was tiny and in need of updating. Niche for the toilet was about 6ft. tall. Minimal amenities. Same price as the bigger room. Not worth the price. Talked to the receptionist, but no lowering of the price. Location is great and the continental breakfast is good.
