“Staff were great! Room was a terrific size and the bathroom was stellar. Parking was free. There was no breakfast, but the pub downstairs had games and entertainment. It was summer and quite hot so the windows had to be open resulting in a few spiders making their way in, but that would be expected honestly. I would absolutely stay here again!”

Habe stayed at the inn 3 times and have always been satisfied with way were treated. For the future feel that the inn could benefit by introducing air conditioning.”

“No food available. No bar to use. TV didn’t work. Shower was a dribble. Pillows made of lumps. The “packed mini bar” described by the staff had a small carton of long life orange juice in it. Nice view of a brick wall from the room. Constant noise of trains and cars on the A5. Not quite the Bankside idyl that the website promised. Save your money.”

“We had an amazing stay, gorgeous shepherds huts in a lovely location. So nice to have the pub nearby! We stayed during the heatwave and our hut was particularly hot, the staff were so nice to prepare another more shaded hut for us for our second night, we really appreciated the gesture! “This was a 3 night stay, with 11 other golfers, in the heart of Wantage, It is an old property in the town square. Rooms were small but adequate. Bathroom was well maintained and clean. (Nice towels). We dined there once and breakfasted three times. Food was good. Service was very professional and friendly. The bar was well stocked and lively whilst we were there.
