Norway trip

Staff was great. Food was wonderful. Only concern was a mold smell coming from the overflow in the bathroom sink. I understand that this can be difficult to address. Other than that no complaints at all.

It has potential but misses it

This is a charming family run hotel. My biggest complaint is that the Internet was poor at best. It seemed like they tried to save money and strange places like not refilling this soap in the shower. The shower took a long time to get hot water. Maybe being on the top floor limited These things. The restaurant only had one course each night and if you didn’t like it, you were out of luck. It has a lot of potential but miss the Mark. It almost will be better. Run as a B&B. If you need it for location, this is a fine place to stay, which is why we were here.

Fred og ro i Hafslo

Vi kombinerte besøk på Bremuseet og bokbyen i Mundal med et fredelig besøk på Eikum Hotell. Hotellet ligger trivelig til i naturskjønne omgivelser og med et vennlig personale.

Vi ble godt mottatt. Stor spisesal, deilig hage

Vennlig og imøtekommende betjening på dette familiedrevne hotellet. Stor spisesal og en deilig hage. Grei størrelse på rommet, som hadde to lenestoler med riktig plassering i fht TV. Få TV-kanaler, men vi så uansett ikke mye på TV under oppholdet. Hotellet er et fint utgangspunkt så vel for fotturer i fjellet som for sightseeing. Solvorn fergekai, med forbindelse til Urnes stavkirke, er bare 10 - 15 min. bilkjøring unna. Shoppingsentre på Haukåsen og i Sogndal sentrum.

Cosy, but upgrades required

Our expectations were relatively low, and they were fulfilled. The room was small, the floor under the beds had not been cleaned for a while, the beds were comfortable though. The bathroom and shower was in need of some upgrades. The breakfast was slightly disappointing, as the bread was not fresh, and there were no rolls. The staff was friendly and serviceminded.
