A great, convenient stop inside the park along the Skyline Drive. Friendly staff. WiFi available at reception and dining area, but spotty elsewhere. Stayed in a premium room (includes a fridge), which had a lovely view. There is a gift-shop, restaurant/dining hall and grab-n-go for snack and food options. Several trails are accessed from the resort too. Overall, a good stay.

The room and bathroom were clean, and the property was quiet and peaceful, making it a great place to rest and refresh. There are also many hiking options nearby, which is a big plus for nature lovers. However, there was a bad smell in the room, and the AC was quite noisy, which affected the overall comfort of the stay.

The views were amazing and the access to the local trails were unbeatable. The AC didn’t work in our unit, but the night air was cool. We are used to that in more remote and cabin locations. We left the door open and let the night air come in through the screen door. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our stay.
