Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Older historic hotel that is well maintained. Loved the location and view. Food was very good. Only issue we had was that the equipment in the fitness room was not working.

We had a wonderful long weekend at The Mimslyn! The entire place was super clean and comfortable. The food (dinner and breakfast) was fresh and delicious! Looking forward to going back in the fall!

This is a fantastic hotel. We loved the location. The front porch is very relaxing. We loved both restaurants and the staff at both. And our room was a perfect size for 2 people. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

The property was beautiful and the pool and hot tub were very enjoyable. The breakfast was also very good. The only issue we had was at check-in that our room was having some repairs and it wasn’t ready. The staff took care of it right away.

It was a very old charm place with modern amenities. Huge bathroom, lots of space to walk, hammocks, free coffee and muffins, luxury and attention to the details. Highly recommend, 4 min drive to Luray Caverns.

The manager was exceptionally friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. She assisted us with carrying our luggage, warmly welcomed us at the Speakeasy, and even recommended an excellent wine that was not on the menu. Her leadership was evident in the outstanding service provided by the entire team, as the front desk and restaurant staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay.

Very clean and nice staff. The massage was amazing would do that again. The pool was very nice but no handrails to hottub or steps so felt a little dangerous. Was a little hard to achieve climate control and room very small but overall a very pleasant experience

We enjoyed the stay at Mimslyn very much! It is walking distance to town if you don’t mind walking up the hill which we did not. The rooms were a bit small and I would recommend removing a piece of furniture or two to give guests a bit more space but the rooms seemed clean. We traveled with an infant and didn’t realize how much we would need a fridge and microwave so that was a bit of a challenge, but the staff was incredibly accommodating with allowing us to store our baby medical items with them. I cannot express enough how wonderful the staff is here. The only thing that would give me pause about staying here again is the lack of a mini fridge, but all in all the staff truly made the experience wonderful.

This property is just as advertised, a historical inn. The rooms are older but well maintained. The staff were delightful. We had dinner at the Speakeasy Restaurant. The food and desserts were delicious, well above our expectations. The breakfast was also delicious and our waitress was super sweet!

The hotel is picturesque even though the surrounding area is not. It’s a five minute drive to the caverns and a short walk to the local beer garden and downtown shops; it was the perfect hotel to book for what we wanted! I did not expect two Tesla chargers, so that was a nice surprise. The Speakeasy Bar has superb food and strong cocktails.

Stayed here after a day exploring Shenandoah … rented one of the cabins and ate dinner at the Speakeasy restaurant on bottom floor. The staff was short and borderline rude … and at dinner, every other word from the waiter was to say that is “extra” on a $300 dinner. Things like sour cream and bacon on a baked potato or dressing on the side of a salad. The cabin is poorly maintained and not overly clean but serviceable. All in all it would have been fine for a $150 per night hotel but at $450 price point I have expectations.
