This was a great place with a terrific restaurant at the lodge. For the price of the rooms , they were very outdated and very rustic looking. I know it's a campground/hiking area.\nBut they should either charge less for their rooms or improve the quality of the rooms and update them. I would certainly return there.It is very nice area and the staff and everyone was fantastic.

It is a beautiful place and the amenities were nice! Very nice pool, hiking trails, places to go and things to do. I did the trail rides (loved this the most). The room was clean and welcoming and had excellent water pressure!!! The restaurant had delicious, homemade food with a very customer focused staff. The customer service did not disappoint. I’ll be going back.

Really interesting Mountain View’s and unique location. Staff was very friendly in informing us on the amenities offered and helped set us up with breakfast for our stay (which beat our expectations). Not a bad spot to lay your head down after a day exploring local parks, wineries and cideries.

Beautiful scenery and room was clean. Farm was my favorite and seeing the horses in the barn and playing with the goats. Pool was fantastic. Breakfast and dinner were great and great service. Definitely coming back next time!

Room was not very clean. We had a mouse running around one night! The porch area outside of our room was dirty. Some of the staff acted like they didn't want to be bothered. Food at the lodge was expensive! We won't be staying here next time we are in the area. On a positive note, the main building was clean. There was music and a great view from the main porch.

Our experience when we arrived was wonderful. The staff at the front desk were very kind, the pool was nice, and my family really enjoyed the front lawn activities. We were having an enjoyable day together as a family. Our experience changed once we settled into Valley View. When we first arrived at the house, we noticed a mouse. Although this was concerning, we tried not to let it interfere with our evening as family together. When we headed downstairs where the bedrooms are located, things began to feel increasingly uncomfortable. My daughter had previously mentioned hearing knocking coming from a locked door inside one of the rooms. At first, I did not think much of it. Later in the evening, my husband was standing near the middle door between the rooms, which faces the woods and the back of the house, when he heard three distinct knocks on the door as if there was a person at the door. As we were getting ready to brush the kids teeth, we noticed that a storage door was open even though we specifically remembered it being closed. the door makes a very noticeable noise when it opens, yet none of us had heard it open. We then heard a very loud boom and could not determine where it had come from. Shortly afterward, while our entire family was together downstairs we heard footsteps coming from upstairs. the combination of everything we experienced made us uncomfortable and we decided to leave. We would not recommend this for families with kids! Please be aware.

First time visiting and will be back. Staff was friendly, and welcoming. Food was delicious. The night we stayed they had a blue grass band playing. Lot of things to do here! There's a great winery/brewery down the road, called Blue Quartz. Food and Music were great there too!
