There is no AC, you can open the windows but expect to be woken by early morning traffic. Restaurant was really good. Location and view, spectacular. Full view of Bluenose while you are sweating out the night. Very limited breakfast options in town.

Located right in the heart of Lunenberg. No a/c was a bit of a let down, as it was pretty hot the day we were there. It is a good thing we weren’t there on a +30 day. It was only one night however, so it was manageable.

Parking is an issue. Prepare to pay at a meter with change and move your car after checking in. Stunning view and very clean. Food at the restaurant was superb as well.

The cutest room we have stayed at! Beautiful view of the ocean. Decorated lovely. We are sad now that we checked into a chain hotel and wish we were back above the salt shaker! If you haven’t booked it yet, DO IT!!

The water was beautiful, no entertainment in evening all shop closed down at five so not much to do our room was clean but small no air conditioning , very hot, bed was good but pillow were terrible. But over all would come back for the view, maybe just not spend a night.

Our stay at Salt Shaker Deli & Inn was very nice, and we would recommend it. Check-in at the restaurant was easy. The apartment was spacious and had a lovely view of the water, a large jacuzzi tub, and a small but workable kitchen. The Inn is conveniently located near the main dock, and we easily found parking. The room was very clean. One thing to be aware of is that there is a steep flight of stairs to get to the rooms. We enjoyed a nice dinner at the adjacent restaurant, which is happy to reserve a table for guests staying at the Inn.

Property was clean at first site. Once you started to looked around there was dust on the coffee pot, dishes and glasses, also Around the floor boards. So the cleaning lady should really do a detail cleaning once and awhile instead of a quick clean.

This room was such a nice surprise. It had a partial kitchen, which I didn’t use (surrounding restaurants around are amazing, but is a great option to have) and the upstairs bedroom and bathroom were wonderful. The bed was so soft and comfortable plus the bathroom had a jacuzzi tub and shower. I used the jacuzzi tub twice, such a wonderful surprise. I had a small window with a view of the bay, with a nice seating area as well. Another highlight, no keys needed, there was a code for the front door and the room—wonderfully easy. There are stairs required, so keep that in mind, but if stairs aren’t an issue, this property is in the heart of everything and a wonderful stay.
