Very cozy, clean and warm cottage(it was a cold couple of days). We rented the Lily Pond cottage, it was super clean with two beds. Everything we needed including wine glasses and a bbq. Owner was friendly and accomodating. Shower was nice with plenty of hot water and pressure. Close to hiking, downtown Lunenburg and less than an hour to Liverpool. It was our second stay here and we will be back a third for sure. Very enjoyable stay.

Overall our stay was wonderful. The blue and green cabins are very small. If I had of realized how small I would have chose a bigger cabin or the motel rooms. Staff was very prompt with the issue with hot water! Would recommend this property.

This motel definitely doesn't look like much from the outside. In fact I asked to see the room before we actually checked in. The man at the desk sure didn't like that! But he was abrupt and unfriendly anyway. So....what a surprise when we opened the door to our room! It was as cute as a button. Small but spotlessly clean! And the bed was very comfortable. I really liked the big picture windows to the back as well as the front. A nice stay.

A very well maintained property. We had an issue with the TV and it was fixed quickly. One issue was that the shower water supply was hooked up backwards so when you turned the water to hot it came out cold. You had to turn the water to cold in order to get hot water. Good location and very clean and spacious room.

A fortunate find in our search for accommodations in Lunenberg. Owner/manager Marcus has a good thing going with these compact cottages, each equipped with everything a couple needs: queen-size bed, bedside tables with reading lamps you can read by; charging outlets above the headstand; small dining table & two chairs; a fully equipped kitchenette; & 3-piece bathroom (shower). Whisper-quiet AC/heat. Outside: small deck and chairs facing the sea (across the road) and bbq set. Only caveats: the shower is very compact for large individuals, and single-valve water, so you can’t control flow separate from temperature. No fan or hooks in the bathroom. Checkout time is 10am.
