“Hotel did not do breakast - thought I had booked bed and breakfast. Turned on the evening to be told they don't do evening meals, member of staff pointed to a microwave and toaster and referenced a shop that was closed to buy stuff. Next evening, a saturday, they were serving evening meals was told they did server evening meals. Whether they only seve meals at the weekend or short staffed I don't know.”

“Beautiful property in an idyllic setting. Breakfast is a wonderful combination of husband-made marmalades, fresh fruit and perfectly cooked dishes. The hostess is beyond helpful, giving us a perfect itinerary that included an amazing nearby art hotel and a surprisingly interesting castle. We will stay here again!”

“We stayed in one of the offsite casa style rooms which was perfect for our family (we were parents travelling with two teenagers). Room was clean and had all we needed for our two night stay. We appreciated the afternoon scones and tea in the main hotel. We were surprised that our rooms didn’t have any housekeeping between our first and second nights so I’m not sure if that was part of the casa room service or not but our request for addition towels was taken care of quickly!”

“Lovely place in the forest. Magnificent outside area to have a drink and look at the mountains. Food both dinner and breakfast were delicious and staff efficient and nice. Highly recommend”
