However the room we were in (an upgraded room) was over the kitchen and every morning at 7am something started up and all we could hear was the hum of it which is annoying when you would like a lie in. “Lovely and cozy stay! It’s easy walking distance to the beach, the pier, and restaurants. The manager wasn’t in when we went last minute and the staff was alarmed that we were able to make a reservation. They were still able to accept our reservation and made it a pleasant stay (esp because it was one night). The rooms were well decorated and bed was comfortable. They have some toiletries if you’ve forgotten yours. If you have a car, you can ask for a parking permit to avoid paying the public...

“Great rural location (i am not a golfer), really nice room, clean and comfortable and reasonably stylish. Only let downs were; paper thin walls so could hear quiet conversations in the adjacent rooms, and a noisy shower (neighbour showered at 1am!). it was a heatwave; room fans were provided but it would have been good to fully ventilate the rooms. Due to work commitments i had to leave before breakfast so can't comment on that.”
