what must have a been a grand olde dame years ago has shifted to be a nice old hotel. The staff was very accomodating and friendly. The parking situation was inconvenient and unusual bordering on confusing. The room itself was very large, but with mostly bare walls and unusual(?) furniture choices. Having said all that, we were pleased with our choice by the time we checked out! We were surprised to read on the website about the "enchanting" garden. It may have been enchanting once , but those days are gone. It's too bad the bar and restaurant are no longer in business.

Great reception staff. Always helpful. The hotel is in a great location for walking to the Old Town. The hotel is always clean. My room was, perhaps, a bit basic but it was very clean, quiet and with a very comfortable bed. When I next come to Lübeck I will certainly stay at this hotel.

Vi havde et godt ophold på 3 overnatninger. Hotellet ligger indenfor kort gåafstand til centrum. Værelset var simpelt og kunne godt have været bedre - vi savnede f.eks. et køleskab til at holde vores frugt og drikkevare kolde. Vi savnede ligeledes en el-koger til te/kaffe. Der blev ikke gjort rent på vores værelse i de dage vi var der og der manglede sæbe i ved bruseren allerede fra ankomsten. Sæben blev dog leveret hurtigt efter vi påpegede det. Generelt var personalet rigtig imødekommende og hjælpsomme. Hotellets morgenmad var rigtig god og vi nød en god start på morgenen. Det var nemt at parkere bilen ved hotellet. Alt i alt et godt ophold til prisen, trods nogle få mangler.
