Our stay was great! Easily located right next to old town and the train station. The manager was super nice and we had everything we needed for our stay access was a breeze. The property was very nicely decorated and the coffee was delicious.

Lübeck Christmas Market visit

A nice, clean and comfortable hotel excellently located just five minutes walk from the railway station and 10 minutes from the city centre. Be aware that you need a smartphone/access to your email and internet in order to open your room! The optional breakfast was at a nice vegetarian cafe in the old city centre, but they don't open until 10:00! If that's not your thing then there is a nice bakery just around the corner from the hotel which opens at 07:00 each morning.

Really nice room with balcony, bathroom looked quite new, everything okay so far - but: the keyless entry system is a catastrophe! First it didn't work because we arrived an hour earlier than announced (better than expected traffic conditions). Had to call the service team, they arranged the access to the room. After we returned from dinner it didn't work again due to a system error. Trial and error, trial and error, trial and error ... and so on. Service hotline busy. Finally got instructions via WhatsApp how to pick up a key card from the safe in the lobby. That worked perfectly. Please Bob W. return to an old-fashioned key card system!

Be prepared for diffyculties getting to your room

The description on Hotels dot com says “reception open 24 hours” this is fake. This is a NO reception hotel. Doors at BOB W are opened from your phone and you are required to do online check-in before that works. Hotels dot com did not provide an online check-in link, and the phone number to “contact host” was invalid. And BOB W was inresponsive to requests via mail or via Hotels dot Com “contact host”. So we couldnt get in. Spent more than hour on that. I was i. A state of “we have been cheated” and was starting to look up alternatives. Extremely anoying situation. Why didnt BOB W send me the check-in link together with the welcome e-mail ? Standing in front of the hotel door was valid phone number and a friendly person helped. Once you have access it works ok, and the room itself was small but nicely renovated and clean.

We never saw any staffmembers. The doublebed turned out to be a queensize, and not big enough for my grown daughter and me :-( There were only 3 parkingplaces, and the cars parking there never mooved. don't advertice it as if there are parkingplaces to the hotel.

This is a very stylish hotel and ideal for any travel influencer. (Each room comes with a Fuji Instax camera and one free roll of film.) The property is very close to the train station and in walking distance to Lübeck old town. Parking in front of the house is limited. The rooms get really hot during the summer months due to the lack of air conditioning. Communication with property manager via text message is a bit slow. The fact that the hotel has no reception makes it feel a bit impersonal.

Wir hatten insgesamt einen angenehmen Aufenthalt im Apartmenthotel. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und wir haben uns besonders über die personalisierte Grußkarte gefreut – eine tolle Aufmerksamkeit! Die Umgebung ist ruhig und gleichzeitig gut angebunden. Auch der kostenfreie Zugang zum Fitnessstudio hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Partner-Frühstückslokale waren hervorragend. Allerdings gibt es nur wenige eigene Parkplätze und die Parksituation in der Umgebung ist schwierig. Die Rezeption ist kaum besetzt, da vieles über WhatsApp geregelt wird. Die Kommunikation darüber hat zwar sehr gut funktioniert, dennoch hätten wir uns vorab mehr Informationen gewünscht, z. B. wo frische Handtücher zu finden sind. Auch dass man für den Check-in unbedingt die Buchungsnummer bereithalten muss, sollte deutlicher kommuniziert werden. Das Frühstück musste für einzelne Tage jeweils per WhatsApp gebucht werden, was etwas umständlich war. Zudem deckte das vorab gebuchte Frühstück die Kosten nicht vollständig, sondern bot lediglich einen kleinen Rabatt pro Person. Insgesamt ein gutes Konzept mit kleinen Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten.

Wir haben nur eine Nacht gebucht. Der Check-In funktioniert reibungslos, man erhält eine whatApp mit dem Link zum Gastgeber-Portal. Modern eingerichtet - gutes Boxspringbett - Regendusche. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im UG mit Terrasse. Von der Lage her Super - man muss nur über die Puppenbrücke und ist sofort am Holstentor. Alles Top! 5 Sterne.
