There were some gnats in our room. The bathtub could have been cleaner. The view towards the lake couldn't be beat. We would stay there again if we were going to be in the area. The location was great.

The hot tub and view was great, watching the sunset on the balcony was breathtaking. The bed was horrible we couldn't even move around on it, not many towels, and the table was very wiggy.

The overall outside appearance of the building is kind of an eye sore but don’t let that fool you! The rooms are clean and spacious, the location is amazing, the pool is a nice bonus, and the staff were incredible. I would definitely stay here again. The grounds are well maintained and decorated with flowers.

Booked room for one night. Arrived and with seeing the room, the location, and sitting on the balcony with the unobstructed view of the sun setting over Lake Michigan right outside, we were hooked. The cherry on the cake though and what sealed it for us was the truly "old time" welcome and service we received and felt from the 3 staff members maintaining the front office over the stay even though they only had 4 more days before closing up the hotel for the '26 season. So I booked room for two more nights. Would highly recommend.

We enjoyed close proximity to the boat launch. We would have our coffee, in the morning, or a glass of wine, at night on our balcony. It was close to beaches and downtown. If you like pizza, we definitely recommend chuck wagon pizza.

We had a 2 bedroom lake view room and it was perfect for what we needed for a family of 4. The beach is literally across the street from the property, as well as a fun little putt-putt course. Downtown shops and restaurants are very walkable, less than 10 minutes. Great little spot!
