It was well located near the main riverside area. We enjoyed our stay here. Only problem was that our table fan was making a bit of noise but that wasn’t a big deal and nothing to do with the property itself. We can recommend this stay.

The hotel location was ideal for the two nights we stayed. However the room itself felt dirty. Each night we returned we were welcomed with a strong warm odor. Bed was a bit stiff. Overall a decent value room for passing through. Would not prefer staying more than 1/2 nights.

Great location, right in the old town and you can walk from the train station in 5-10 minutes. The gentleman at the restaurant was very friendly and helpful. There’s no AC but it was a cool day and we had our windows open.

The room is conveniently located to the old town area. You are a short walk from the river. You’re not overlooking the river despite what the pictures represent. Our room was a good size and had been updated. It was relatively clean. I would consider staying there again. The self check in was relatively easy. You will not be allowed to check in early but can leave bags downstairs with the restaurant. The French pastry restaurant on the square directly across from the hotel is great.

The location is excellent! Unfortunately it is on a busy square with deliveries starting early in the morning, so a bit loud. We loved having a mini refrigerator and a kettle in the room. The beds were very firm. Too hard for our comfort, but that is an individual preference. The self check took a while, but instructions were good. Wifi info is on the wall by self check in.

It went smooth like others have said the top rooms are very narrow and you could potentially intricate if you're tall so if you're above 6 feet or above, I would request a room that wasn't at the top like I had.. great location , no problems

The hotel is in a great location and is convenient for exploring the area. However, the listing is misleading and does not accurately reflect the property or its amenities. Several amenities did not work properly during our stay. The refrigerator barely cooled, and the coffee maker was not functioning. Since there is no on-site staff available, it was difficult to get assistance or resolve these issues. The photos on the booking platform also make the property appear nicer than it actually is. In our experience, they were not an accurate representation of the room or the overall condition of the hotel. The location is definitely the strongest feature, but I believe the listing should provide a more realistic description and updated photos so guests know what to expect.

This property is strategically situated in the heart of the old town. It is a few steps away from the famous bridge and landmarks. It is safe and the instructions upon self check-in were clear. We experienced a problem upon our arrival, but it was immediately handled by the hotel staff that was available by email and through the app. His correspondence was quite respectful and understanding of the situation. He even acknowledged the oversight. We appreciated the opportunity of leaving our luggages in the restaurant , at noon, that was at the first floor before check-in. The room was small, but it was quite expected, considering that it was situated within old buildings. We were able to have a couple of good nights rest throughout our stay. The hotel is surrounded by a number of restaurants, boutiques, and convenience stores. There is even an Aldi close by. The area was quiet at night and we were able to keep our windows open for fresh cool air breeze.

The good thing I can say is the location is great! After that, things go down hill. You have to climb a precarious set of stairs with your luggage before getting to an elevator. The safe did not work. There was no air conditioning and even though temperatures moderated while we were there we had to sleep with the windows open. It is on a busy and noisy square with deliveries to businesses in the early morning making lots of racket. I also think the initial photo showing what appears to be the Lucerne performing arts center with a fountain is misleading and has nothing to do with the property.

Great location and decent-sized room, but not set up for business travel. No iron, no steamer (but a hair dryer?!?) and no suitable chair or table aside from tiny wooden pieces almost suitable for schoolkids. Bed was quite hard. Having at least a steamer and a decent chair would be easy fixes to make this place much more suited for travel, particularly given that in Switzerland business attire tends toward the more formal.
