Was incredibly easy to access from the train station. The area around the hotel was full of shops and sights that were easily walkable. The hotel is attached to a McDonald’s and Star bucks that were convenient for late night/ early morning snacks. There was also a nightclub at the top of the hotel if you’re into that type of thing, but it did not bother me sound wise even though I was the floor below.

It was a fantastic stay. Our room was amazing...top floor with a fantastic view of the lake. It was exceptionally spacious and the beds the most comfortable of our entire 3 week European vacation...we look forward to coming back!

The location of the Monopol was perfect. It is located directly across the street from the train station. It also had air conditioning which is a must for us during the summer.

The exterior and interior decor is classy. The proximity to the train station and waterfront is perfect for visitors. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. ORANGE JUICE was the best I have ever had! Fantastic hotel near town and the staff was great. Starbucks downstairs was terrific! Our room was also very comfortable but a bit dirty. Stains in the carpet and furniture. There were also old slippers under the bed. We also had to request new towels because housekeeping didn’t tidy our room. We will be back one day though.

Conveniently located just outside the Luzern train station and right next to the chapel brige and boat rides. Attentive staff. We arrived early and staff checked in our bags and room was avaliable earlier than check in time. Will stay again if visiting Luzern.

This hotel is not only gorgeous and classic but the staff was incredible. They were so helpful with maps and walking directions. The big bonus was it was across from the train and buses so I didn't have to use a taxi. I like to walk and this was perfect. Room had an awesome view of the city.

Our room was leaking from the ceiling. When brought to the hotels attention, they set towels under it and apologized. Although staff was friendly, we didn’t have AC and the ceiling was leaking bad. No room change or discount on stay or anything. I found it very unprofessional
