We enjoyed our stay in this lovely villa with grand common area spaces, beautiful grounds and a lovely pool. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful breakfast and sat outside in the beautiful garden. There was free parking and it was a short drive to both Pisa and Lucca. The Villa has a long history so some areas show some wear but it gives it character and everything was clean. We loved the quiet location and beautiful surroundings. I would come again!

I can not tell you how amazing this hotel is. 12th century villa. Stunning. Grounds are gorgeous. Location is perfect. Close to both Lucca and Pisa and Florence. Free breakfest was great. Rooms comfortable. Bathroom newly renovated. 10-10

Charming historic place needs urgent uplift in all

Charming old premises with important historic background Unable to delegate a decent room in the building for a 6 days stay from the start. A lot of young servants that lack professional education (incl English), weak/unstable WLAN that prevented normal VC conferences for most of the days, large snake near house in garden was no issue to followed up, unable to borrow bottle opener for a day for the gifted red wine bottle in the room. So I went to Lucca and bought them a second one for the house as a gift … many more “hidden camera moments”.

Perfect stay in Tuscany

We spent 3 lovely days in Villa La Principessa. Location and old style hotel atmosphere was perfect! Very roomy hotel rooms, quiet sleeping on super matresses. Only bathroom was very tired and it calls for renovation.

Such a shame that this hotel is old and smelly and worn out. The house has potential to be such a nice place. BUT is smells old and smells stuffy. The furniture is old and we wouldn’t even sit in the couch. The pool was kind of okay but the pavement very old and worn out too.

Die Villa Principessa ist ein italienischer Traum .....man will garnicht mehr weg. Angefangen bei den geräumiges, klimatisierten Zimmern mit super Betten ......über das Frühstück, das keine Wünsche offen ließ, bis hin zu dem riesen Pool in einer absoluten Traumlandschaft . Die große Halle ist einfach unfassbar schön. Auch das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich. Ich hoffe, dort nochmal hin zu kommen.

Super mooi hotel!! Wij hadden een hele mooi romantische kamer, was schoon en lekker groot. Personeel super vriendelijk. Je had wel een auto nodig om naar Lucca te gaan want lopen was best wel ver. Het eten in het hotel, zowel diner als ontbijt is oké, niet heel bijzonder. Het zwembad heerlijk. Je kon overal in en om het hotel zitten. Wij hadden de pech dat er een hele grote groep Italianen iedere dag op excursie gingen dus al vanaf 07.00 nogal luidruchtig waren maar goed daar was niets aan te doen. Ik zou dit hotel zeker aanbevelen als je Pisa en Lucca wil bezoeken. Wij zijn ook naar San Marco geweest, ook zeker de moeite waard om naar toe te gaan.

Wunderschönes Haus. Man kommt sich vor wie eine Königin oder Prinzessin. Wie in einem Schloss. Sehr leckeres und ausgiebiges Frühstück. Alles eher außerhalb vom Tourismus, macht alles noch viel entspannter und schöner. Das Bad sehr geräumig, große Zimmer. Alles eher „alt“ gehalten was den flair so schön macht.
