Location 2km outside of Lucca, so 20min walk max. Lots of space at the hotel.

I got this hotel as alternate solution provided by Tour operator due to canceled reservation of different hotel. Hotel is located outside of Lucca - in the middle of nowhere. Not good for travelers without a car. No free water at the rooms even if it's rated as four stars hotel. It's a shame that a hotel is not providing it for free when a room costs nearly 180€/night. I even think that for a four stars rated hotel it should work on a few details. For me it is currently not a four stars hotel.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön, alles ok. Der Weg in die Stadt muss mit Auto oder Taxi vorgenommen werde, da ein Fußweg an der Straße entlang nicht so schön ist.

Hôtel très bien placé à environ 5 minutes en voiture de la porte Elisa de Lucca. Hôtel propre, literie confortable. Parfait pour une courte étape à Lucca. Grand parking privé de l’hôtel. Nous n’y avons pas pris le petit déjeuner donc pas d’avis sur ce sujet

Handy for Lucca

Nice modern hotel. The room was clean and spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the bar staff particularly so. We didn't have breakfast but the food and service at dinner was good. Plenty of parking at the rear. There are several local bars, restaurants, and supermarkets nearby and Lucca centre is about 25 minutes walk.

A fuir ! Hotel impersonnel et non sécurisé

Accueil très froid , salle de bain avec moisissures, et pour couronner le tout alerte incendie à 2h30 du matin ( le 28 juillet 2024 )… une seule personne la nuit pour gérer et qui a mis une bonne demi heure à arrêter le système en appelant qqn … il nous dit ensuite que tout est ok mais ça ressonne juste derrière … et bien sûr aucune excuse le lendemain au moment du check-out …

We stayed in a suite. When we arrived the room had not be aired. once windows balcony door opened it was fine. We had booked twin beds so when we entered room and found double we discussed with front desk and they had this sorted out and 2 x drink vouchers. It took another 40 minutes before we could get back into room and the bar was not open until 5pm which was 3 hours away. we were told there was a vending machine with cold drinks. our stay was for 6 nights and during this time the sheets were not changed, something we are not used to in Italy. Would have expected at least one change after 3 days. Breakfast was good but difficult to get proper coffee (not out of machine) as staff who took room number (if anyone was there to do so) didn't ask unless you asked. Also one day there were not plates left to put breakfast items on. On the Friday we got back from a trip out and went to vending machine in Hotel and there was no still water. I went to front desk and asked about this and what appeared to be a manager said the bar opens at 5pm to which i said i knew (again a couple of hours away from that) and he offered water bottles that were hot. 2 days later the vending machine had not yet been refilled. we headed for the supermarket! Overall staff at front desk were quite helpful but the stay could have been so much more comfortable if there had been a smoother operation in place especially with a hotel group this size. just rather disappointing.
