Older building but very modern inside. Great location. Street out front is a bit noisy at night if you have window open. No AC, so on hot nights it’s likely to be so. Really nice decor and breakfast room.

There was incredible amount of noise coming from the bar and people outside. There were many people throwing beer bottles onto the sidewalk. Rooms are very very small. Would never stay there again

Amazing central location. Lovely staff and great room for the three of us, with a separate little room off ours for our teenage daughter. Only downsides were that we were there during a hot spell and there is no air con so it was hard to sleep. Also breakfast was pretty limited, it was OK but not as good as some of the other hotels we stayed in in Germany. I’d definitely go back though, as long as it wasn’t going to be hot.

Our room was not as expected. It felt like it was meant to be a single room, but they brought in an extra single cot to justify double occupancy. A tiny closet for the toilet. No air conditioning made for a hot stuffy night as the window only cracked open into an ally where pigeons were nesting and making noise all night. The advertized pictures do not look anything like our room

Excellent hotel, very clean, staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and it was a pleasure to talk with them. Also something I really appreciated was that they would always say hello when they saw me and would acknowledge me. I have been at lots of other hotels where staff are too busy to say hello. The hotel has a very central location to the shops and you can walk everywhere. My room was amazing with a beautiful window overlooking the river. The room had a refrigerator which I really appreciated because I could store my juice and my food. I loved everything about Hotel Jensen and I will definitely book my next stay in Lubeck at the Hotel Jensen.
