The staff were nice and it was a nice location. My room was dirty and in dire need of a deep cleaning. There was a strange odor in the room I believe coming from the refrigerator, possibly mildew as the fridge needed defrosting and had a thick layer of ice around it. The pool was ice cold despite it being over 95 degrees out during our stay.

Fantastic location for all things Texas Tech, Rooms are generous and have what you need (refrigerator and Coffee pot). Food is honestly only ok. Had a Steak and it was charred to the point of tasting burnt. Both times I said there were issues with equipment at the Starbucks coffee shop in the lobby so was not able to get a latte. Tried the French toast for breakfast, which was good, but the menu is small. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful.
