We loved our stay at the Royal Islander! The rooms were clean, spacious, and had beautiful views. The pools were great, the food was delicious, and the staff were friendly. the location is perfect for exploring Maho Beach and nearby restaurants. We would definitely come back!

While the rooms were a little dated, everything was very clean and very comfortable. Grounds were immaculate, great pool and amazing beach. Plenty of lounge chairs. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Night bartender, Jay, was awesome. Hotel is in a nice area, plenty of restaurants in walking distance.

Janel at the front desk was amazing..very helpful with information on site as well as places and things to do off site. Kim serves the best coffee pastries and wellness shots. She was very helpful is steering us to places to help us enjoy ourselves.. The resort is in an amazing location with walking distance to one of the islands beautiful beaches on mullet bay and great views of the planes in maho beach..BUT THE RESORT IS old and could use some upgrades but and a paint job and a few more activities ..with that being said..STAFF IS AMAZING and any problems that arose was quickly resolved. Would go back..SEE YOU AGAIN

The hotel is well located and comfortable. Pleasant and helpful staff. Checkout time at 10 am can be a bit tight because the restaurant doesn't start breakfast until 8:30. We were to pd that it would be ok up to about 10:30.

The room was clean and spacious and all rooms seem very well positioned, facing the ocean and pool and garden all at once. The hot tub was a nice plus. In-site restaurant while looked great and well set up, all the food was bland in spite of its presentation. Location is ideal for walking to other restaurants and the casino is merely steps away as well as famous sunset bar and the beach for plane watching are right at your doorstep.

The room was very spacious & had a fully stocked kitchen. It is a little dated but worked great for our needs. The balcony we had was massive & had a great view of the ocean & the airport to watch the planes land & take off. There is definitely a lot of noise from the planes all day until around 8pm which was fine for us. There is also a lot of noise from the street from the bars & locals riding ATVs & motor bikes that go well into the night. If you are not okay with that this hotel is not for you. Overall experience was great for our family trip. Would return again

I can't say enough good things, I absolutely loved this hotel. The location was great, right on the beach and in an area with a few nice restaurants and shops. The Tortuga, which was right on the property, had amazing food and drinks. The pool was always nice and clean. The staff was helpful and friendly (especially a front-desk associate named Antoinee). We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite, and it was huge with a full kitchen an all amenities included. My only small gripe is they could update some of the furniture and the pool loungers and it would be a 10/10. 100% Recommend.

We had such a wonderful stay that I just had to leave a review. The location is perfect—within walking distance of shops, restaurants, entertainment, and Maho Beach. The accommodation was spotless and featured a fully equipped kitchen, which is great if you prefer to cook. While it is very close to the runway, we absolutely loved it; watching the planes land is a spectacular sight! The flights stop around 7 PM, making the evenings very peaceful, so there's no need to worry about your sleep being disrupted. Last but not least, the staff are incredibly friendly. We had a lovely time and highly recommend this place!

The hotel is great. We just got a room next to the road and on FRI night it was very loud (night clubs) and could've been 3-4 stars. The hotel is next to the Maho beach famous for airplanes arrivals. My kids liked a lot the pool and the hot tub. In general is a great hotel to stay

Great amenities with a nice big pool and the hotel is right off the beach. Also a great restaurant right on the property. Rooms are a bit dated, but nice enough. Staff didn’t seem overly happy, especially the person at the pool towels to answer any questions, but the activities lady was very friendly and happy to set up a Happy Birthday display.
