Good location for the expo center. Hotel is a little run down very old also room was next to the lobby was very loud when trying to sleep you could hear people walking above us and running above us it was really loud.

One of the best values ive had in a long time. Better than places twice as expensive. Simple, basic, well taken care of and well run. Breakfast was very basic and ended too early, but that eas a minor thing. Would definitely stay again.

This property is extremely old, smelly, disgusting , Beds are horrible and lots of wear and tears. Does not worth the money. Small and old toilet . You do not want to use it. Lots of cigarette burn marks on the toilet sit. Room smell like has been a smoking room. I am requesting a refund.

The hotel was dated but clean and otherwise very well maintained. Our room was a good size and there was always someone at the front desk if we needed anything. We stayed here for the Kentucky Derby as it was the only reasonably priced hotel in the city and we were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel.

Was actually impressed with property until that evening when I decided to iron my work clothes. Pulled ironing board down and out fell 4 used injection needles. I was horrified and really scared for safety. Reported thos to front desk, and it seemed as though they were not concerned at all that I as a guest could have been stuck by them. I will definitely not be staying there again and encourage if you do to do a proper safety check of the entire room at check-in.

The place was really nice. We started off real well but in the middle of the night my fiance found a bedbug crawling on one of the pillows so we checked out. They had no problem with giving me a refund, but i dtill havent received my $60 deposit back.

It was extremely filthy and when I tried to get a room that didn’t smell like cigarette smoke the front desk person didn’t want to be accommodating. Then when he finally did switch rooms there were stains on all the furniture. Checked in and checked out the same day.

tried to save a few $ on lodging, regretted it

I've stayed at a few budget friendly hotels, but this was one of the worst in terms of condition of the room. Strong cigarette smoke smell, loose change and dust on the floor, bathroom door handle didn't work, dripping sink faucet...the room had a long list of issues both cleaning and maintenance. It looked like the only thing that had been cleaned in between guests was the linens, which I guess is something. If I hadn't prepaid, I probably wouldn't have stayed more than a night. Bagels at breakfast were had some soggy spots on them (?). Staff was polite enough, though no one was available when I went to check out.

This place is a sorry excuse of a hotel. I am shocked that the name brand on the building hasn't been revoked by the franchise. The staff is completely disrespectful and rude. They act as if it is an inconvenience to offer any type of customer service. I was hassled out of money and was almost talked out of using Expedia when booking the first night. I was told that the price difference between the two wasn't a factor when in fact there was a $40 difference in the price of the same room for one night. If I would have booked with them they would have got me for an extra 40 dollars. They only had 4 guest stay the first night and decided that breakfast wasn't worth preparing for 4 guest. Complete lack of give a f~€£!!!!!

I feel terrible to leave a bad review because the staff was so kind. That was the only positive of our stay however. We stayed for two nights for a festival in town and weren’t expecting the Ritz, just needed a comfy place to sleep. When we got back after a long day, we peeled back the sheets the find a maggot on the pillow. I was horrified and the hotel employee was super apologetic but because the hotel was sold out there was nothing more he could do for us than change the pillow case. The entire bed and all of the linens were damp from the air conditioner. We were then kept up from all of the people entering the hotel all night as well as the jerk who pulled into the abandoned liquor store directly outside of our bedroom window and bumped their subwoofers from 2-3 am. The next morning I tried to get coffee from the complimentary breakfast bar, but instead got a cup full of thick sludge and had to find a nearby gas station instead. The parking lot was full of cars who had presumably driven back drunk from the festival and smashed into each other because of how small and tight the lot is. The second night was uneventful and we were able to sleep. The location was decent as far as proximity to the expo center. It was an $11 Uber to get there. Overall, was not the greatest hotel experience and we will be finding somewhere else next time we are in town.

The staff was very friendly. Hotel is close to Kentucky Kingdom and Expo Center. It was in the 90’s when we were there and the AC was not turned on in the room. The room was hot and smelled quite bad. The odor got much better after the room cooled down. There were several dead bugs on the floor and in the bathroom. Also there were stains on the bathroom wall, something gross on the bed frame. Couple different outlets didn’t work.
