The hotel is very clean, elegant, and well maintained. The rooms and common areas feel upscale, and the service throughout my stay was excellent. My only complaint is the pool. It is extremely small for the size of the hotel, and it seemed to be oversold to outside guests. There were simply too many people in such a small space, making it impossible to relax or enjoy the pool. If the pool is one of the reasons you’re choosing this hotel, it’s something to keep in mind. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely come back, but I believe the pool capacity and guest access could be managed much better.

Luxury accommodations in every way… food is delicious, service is top notch. Only issue is the noise! Traffic noise was loud and constant all night. Very disruptive to sleep. I would have thought this property would have much better insulation.

The most beautiful, modern hotel with amazing staff in downtown Louisville! I would definitely choose this hotel every time for future stays. The room was spacious and comfortable, the bed was perfect. Very clean and smells amazing. Our stay was a mix of positives and disappointments. Unfortunately, our experience started off on the wrong foot at check-in. The team member who assisted us overlooked the prepaid breakfasts included with our booking, which made the check-in process confusing and left a disappointing first impression. Breakfast itself was average. Our pancakes were served without syrup, and although we requested it, it took over 45 minutes—and an additional call to the front desk/kitchen—before it arrived. By then, the pancakes were cold, which was frustrating. The rooftop pool and patio bar were definitely highlights of the stay. The food was good, the atmosphere was enjoyable, and the service was generally solid during most of our visits. However, one evening our second round of drinks was forgotten, so we decided to close out our tab and end the night earlier than planned. The pool area was well maintained overall, although there was some hair floating along the edges of the pool. The hotel’s location was excellent—safe, convenient, and within easy walking distance of Whiskey Row. One tip for future visitors: many of the shops are closed on Sundays and Mondays, so plan accordingly to avoid disappointment. We’ll have to save our visit to WhistlePig for next time!

Hotel Bourré Bonne is a beautiful hotel in a prime location in Louisville with amazing onsite dining options. My husband and I splurged by staying 5 nights for our 30th wedding anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed the rooftop cocktail lounge that had delicious drinks and appetizers along with beautiful city views. We also had excellent service and drinks at the main floor lounge during the day. Our favorite experience at the hotel was the five star steakhouse. The service was top notch, and our fillets were absolutely scrumptious. All of the employees we encountered at the hotel were very kind and polite people. The icing on the cake is that the hotel is located in downtown Louisville in walking distance to many pubs and shops. My husband and I highly recommend Hotel Bourré Bonne; we will be returning in the near future.

Staff were awesome! They had a huge weekend and they somehow made us feel like we were the only ones there! Rooms are BEAUTIFUL! All the details in the whole hotel were amazing! I would say the only issue was the loudness of engines revving outside laaate at night in the corner room we had. I luckily had some ear plugs but I’d recommend bringing a noise machine or fan!
