I arrived pretty late and I was the last one to check in, the lady who assisted me was polite and helpful. My room was smart and warm. By the way parking was a breeze, didn't struggle to get space. Slept well and the hot full English breakfast was a delight to have. Place is cosy, warm, clean and has exceptional staff. 10 out of 10...

Main aim was sleep - terrible experience

Pros: Staff were great, bar was good. Room large, shower great. Cons: Mattress was collapsed in the middle, I slept half the night on the floor, other half with pillows under the mattress. ALL doors had aggressive springs and no sound softening so they all slammed with a bang(ours slammed even when closed it carefully).

It was a nightmare, a wedding there was crazy parties in the rooms loud music till 5 am . Stopped two nights first night banging doors .i was getting married somewhere else Saturday, my day was ruined .i would take this so called hotel out your book .

Great stay

It was a good stay at what is a new hotel for me. Loved the electric car charger facility which was a really good thought. Bed was a little soft for my liking but service of reception was quick and attentive.

Beautiful gardens, clean bathrooms, specious rooms Rooms are outdated, no elevator to bring up suitcases or any help to bring up, tv doesn't work None the less it was a nice stay and supported everything we needed. The village itself is a hidden gem.

From the start to finish, lovely staff friendly atmosphere and great all round service. Food at the wedding reception was fabulous and great detail to the different parts of the reception. Fabulous big room with everything you need for a comfortable, quiet night. Good secure parking. Lovely gardens. We would recommend and hope to stay again.

Nice hotel, horrid smell of gas in some parts

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. However, there was a major smell of gas leading to the bedroom on ground floor and in the lift (had to hold hand over mouth and nose) which we raised about 3 times to be told "it's something to do with the boiler and it's safe".

Cold shower tacky fittings loose toilet seat bedside lamps not working chest of draws fall to bits if you try to use them stained carpet. In General very inferior for the money. Restaurant closed 20.30 which is the time I got in.

It’s sad really as this hotel is beautiful and the rooms nice but it could be so much better. The room was set up for one person despite telling them it was for two. At first we had no remote for the TV and then the remote provided didn’t work and the other room we booked that remote didn’t work either. The staff are great though and the grounds are lovely plus they have facilities to charge EVs which is essential these days. The rooms still have no air conditioning or even fans so the room does get hot, the windows can be opened but as we were on the ground floor posed a security risk and can be noisy. Overall lovely hotel but needs some uplifting.

The Quorn Grange is OK I think it would be great for a wedding. we stayed in the extension and just kinda wierd having to go through 3 doors each time. the room was lovely and large, but again the glass bathroom doors were just strange. I dont really want to share that experience with anyone. The front reception at arrival was poor with her ignore us initially and then just ok. Not a bad place, clean, new but just ok Bar staff very friendly
