The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant adjacent to it was excellent. The pool area was peaceful. The staff was reasonably friendly, but they spoke very little English. It was a long walk uphill from check-in to my room (ending with two flights of stairs; no elevator). My stay included one free breakfast at the restaurant; there were no other food options (or really anything else) in walking distance. No information in the room advising about hotel policies, check-out times, etc. Cabs were easy to get, but pricey.

Great place to stay in Cabo San Lucas

The staff was very friendly at check in. The room was available immediately. The room was exceptionally clean, well appointed and spacious, with stunning views of the Sea of Cortez. The restaurant next door was great and gave a good discount for the hotel guest. We will differently go back there and would recommend to anyone we know.

The Sunrock is always nice! Clean rooms, friendly staff and great location! The staff at the Sunrock are always helpful and make you feel welcome!

The suite was a pretty nice size. But there was no hot water and a terrible smell coming out of the drain in the master shower. I had to leave the place after my first night there. I am still waiting on the refund.

The stay was pretty good very decent just feel kind of deceived with the amenities that’ says they offer that weren’t true! Breakfast is not included they give u 20% off from there restaurant! No elevator so u do have to carry all ur stuff up and down the stairs! I do have bites but can’t tell what if they were from the bed but I did notice them when I woke up! It did have some nice views though!

The suites were recently upgeaded. Very modern style, beds were super comfy, large showers, maid service everyday. No hassle checking-in. Only negative is the livingroom furniture. They have outdoor patio sofas which were very uncomfortable.

I had a great view of the ocean, and great sunset view as well from cluster 9. Its an older property with large units. Not excessively well equipped bbut very workable. Didnt like that there were no mosquito screens. Desk lamps lines were cut and the intercom/phone wasnt working. Pool deck was a bit too eposed, but overall was great staying there. The resto Seads right next door was very good. Laundry service was slightly shady bec they wouldnt publish the rates and the timing (ilaundry can be picked up the ff say bec they were soing laundry service for other properties as well). Front desk staff was very helpful and service oriented. Fresko was just across the highway. Overall was happy i booked in that location.

I reserved three units for one night for our group of 13. I only reserved for one night as I didn't know what to expect and feared it might be rundown or in a bad location. However, it was so nice--I would have reserved for longer if I'd known! The hotel is huge, and is in a great location. We felt very safe, and loved walking around the grounds. There are several pools, even. The beds were comfortable and the units convenient. There is no elevator, however; so be sure to request a ground floor if you don't want to lug suitcases up stairs!

Bad maintenance

This hotel has potential but greatly lacking in maintenance. Bare bulb sticking out of the wall, all curtains falling off, sofas super uncomfortable, door handle fell off, toilets running, hair all over the floors. Definitely would not book again. The only up side was the front desk person was very nice.

We were impressed with the friendly and fast check in service. The front desk was accommodating and quick to address our needs. The room was clean and very spacious. The bed and pillows were comfortable. There was lots of closet space, a safe and decent furniture. The kitchen is basic but it was all we needed. The best part was the incredible view from the balcony! We could actually see the wales jumping in the harbour! Pros: beautiful view Quiet pools Basic but clean Location- 5 minutes walk to the beach and 5 minutes to the bus stop ( Cabo San Lucas or SAN Jose del Cabo) Excellent service Cons: not many options for restaurants close by Grocery store is close but you need to cross a very busy highway Minimal cooking supplies ( only a couple fry pans no pots) This was fine to make breakfast.
