The staff was wonderful, drinks were great for an all inclusive property. Beach is not swimmable but beautiful property. Food was great at the Asian dinner but the steakhouse was not. The buffet was excellent for breakfast and dinners. I would definitely go back. I wish there was more entertainment and things for kids ages 9-16 since it’s a family property.

This is a good base of operations. The all inclusive food isn't bad or great - however will serve as a good back-up in case you don't want to go out. This is def a “party” resort - if you are looking avoid screams of “shots”, the palace next door is a better bet. There maybe a lost drunk who knocks on your door in the middle of the night ( happened at my sisters room ). All the pools are relatively warm. The staff are really great however - loved that.

The resort is beautiful and is kept pretty clean. Employees are very nice and attentive (so pls tip them) Breakfast buffet was pretty good/lunch buffet was ok/tiki tacos were good/dinner was good too. If you want to go to the steakhouse you have to start making a line by 530pm (they only take so many people per night) the club played good music. We mainly stayed at the pools that face the ocean. One pool is for adults only but the music was mid...the middle pool played better music....lol but the bartender were great! Overall I had a good time and would recommend it.

This Riu is definitely not worth the cost food subpar rooms air conditioning are set at 75 to 80 in the rooms no elevators if you have the 3rd 4th or 5th floor the drinks are all tequila no top shelf alcohol everything shuts down at 8pm. Pools entertainment food service every thing would not recommend at all even if it was free.

Overall, our stay with the family and kids was good. Would I come back again? No. Pros: - Plenty of food and drink options. Clean restaurants, friendly staff. - Pool and waterpark was fun. - Room was clean, and was cleaned every day. - Staff overall was helpful. Cons: - Hotel is very big, and in the heat you would have to walk a lot to get where you want to go. - The beach next to the hotel is not swimmable, so you would have 10-15 min walk to a swimmable beach. - Our shower was nice but was leaking a lot water after we showered, maintenance crew did not show up to fix it even though we reported it. - There is no table or chair in the rooms if you need to sit and work on a laptop it will not be possible. - Also wall where the TV is, there is absolutely no power plugs there, which is a miss. - In the many buildings they have there are 3 levels but no elevators, so if you are on the 3rd floor, good luck!

Rooms are outdated and beds are very uncomfortable. Couches the rooms are also stained and worn down. Pools were wonderful and so was the staff! Moses who runs the Ruifit programs was great and made the light work out fun for all! The gym is very small and was crowded when about 12 people were there. Food was better than expected and I would rate it more highly than some other all-inclusives we’ve stayed at. The nightly entertainment was good. I was pretty surprised when a stripper pole was put out - not exactly my idea of family friendly. That show could have come with a bit of a warning .. like mature audience only. Otherwise, great stay!
