It fit the bill perfectly for my short 2 day layover in Cabo. Im traveling solo this trip so a hostel was a good choice. Mayan Monkee has the best possible location if you want close proximity to the Marina and walkability as a priority.

We arrived early and hung out at the pool and enjoyed some food and beverages while we waited for our room. The beds were comfortable., and the A/C worked great. The website said there were laundry facilities on site, but it was a laundry. Send off overnight service.

Overall, my stay was okay. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its great location—it was convenient to walk to many attractions. There are a few things to be aware of before booking. There is no elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs. The staff was professional but came across as a bit uptight and not particularly warm or welcoming. The room was decent, but it could have been cleaner. The towels provided were old and dingy, and the room stayed very hot, making it difficult to get comfortable. The food was okay—not terrible, but nothing memorable either. If you’re looking for an economical place to stay in a great location and don’t mind sacrificing some comfort and amenities, this hotel may work for you. Just keep your expectations realistic.

Great place, you can see seals from your window. I got a private room with balcony overlooking the Marina and it was pretty amazing. I would stay there again!!

Absolutely awesome place and what a bargain! Cool bar, pool, pool table and great foo. Perfect spot for the wayward Traveller. Only complaint is the tall, male bartender who was clearly more focused on hitting on the young, female clientele and looking at his tinder matches then serving drinks! I sat in front of him for 20 minutes and for awhile, was convinced that the tequila had made me invisible. Highly recommended!

Such a cute place! The food and drinks are so good! Everyone there is super friendly. Rodoiťo Marlon had excellent customer service. He helped us check in & out. He also helped us book a boat ride…so beautiful. I will definitely be coming back!

Melo checked me in and as he was checking me in, he greeted everyone coming into the office by name and remembered room numbers - super impressive and he was so kind and helpful! The rooms were great, breakfast was delicious, and beds were comfy. Highly recommend
