Loved our stay. Very nice, quiet and pretty property. Not fancy, but so good for the price! Lovely pool to lounge by. The office gentleman was exceptionally nice. The neighbor dog "Chato" was a highlight while we waited for our Ubers!! Would definitely stay again. Plan to Uber for meals, as there is not a lot nearby.

This property is a hidden gem in Los Cabos. Isaac at the Front Desk is super personable and welcoming as he conveys vital information about the property and surrounding areas. I booked MariaMar Suites because of the "million dollar view" and I wanted to be far away from the road construction noise and dust in the central SJD area. The hotel is high on a hill which provided unobstructed views of the Sea of Cortez but it is a "hike" down to the beach and a workout coming back up the hill. You are likely to use Uber more than you planned but I also felt safe walking up the hill at night after a meal at Zippers. This is a small, family-owned and operated hotel so it is well maintained and the owners take great pride in providing a clean and welcoming environment. The pool is small but so is the hotel so you won't encounter too many guests and there are several areas with shade. I would definitely return to MariaMar Suites in the future!

The lady that checked me in was wonderful, very nice and pleasant. The room was nice as were the outside areas. I reserved the standard suite and it was great sitting on the porch at night, short walk, but big hill if you don't want to drive restaurants or beach. I would definitely stay here again.

Giant balcony with the most incredible sunrise view over the ocean. The room was spacious and clean overlooking pretty courtyard and with an ocean view. The pool was a glorious spot to cool off and was rarely busy. We appreciated the delicious fresh fruit & toast breakfast; it got us started for the day. Isaac the property manager welcomed us and gave us all the information we needed. He was there at all times to answer any questions. There is a 10-minute walk down the hill to walk to Soqui's restaurant where we went to twice for dinner. The walk back up the hill in the dark was very peaceful and quiet, we felt totally safe. We took an Uber to La Comer to stock up on groceries and used the outdoor kitchen at Mariamar to cook dinner. Beautiful cooking outside! We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you Isaac!

This property was perfect for our one nite stay. It had everything we needed and we enjoyed a nice breakfast in the am. It was quiet and clean away from the beach but only a short walk down to the beach. The pool and garden area was relaxing. Good wifi. Felt safe and secure as there is a code to enter the property. Lovely view.
