This property is in the historic district and feels like an oasis in the midst of a very busy town. I loved the property, the room and the staff.
On the first night, the noise from the nearby nightclub from midnight to 4am was very loud. When I finally got up the next morning after falling asleep once the music stopped, I thought about changing hotels, but I just didn't have the energy to do it. I also thought, you're in Mexico, you're not going to be doing much during midday due to the heat, so just roll with it and siesta during the day. I spent the afternoon in a lounge chair by the pool I'm glad I stayed.
The 2nd night was peaceful and I slept great.
I would highly recommend this place, particularly if you're going to be going out to the nightclubs and won't mind that on some nights, the noise can be loud. Other than that, it is wonderful.
