My wife an I, had a great time at the Hilton Los Cabos. The staff was very friendly, the service was implacable and the hotel had everything we needed. It’s well located as long as you’re willing to take a cab or an Uber to San Jose Del Cabo or Cabo San Lucas. The cab or Uber cab is only 20 to 30 minutes.

The hotel is nice but noticeably dated. The pool area and outdoor space is definitely much nicer that the inside and the rooms. The staff is friendly and attentive to the most part. The restaurants/food is good but not anything spectacular or to write home about. However, the prices are those of a top-tier place, which this is far from. Frankly, you’re much better off going off-restore to the high-end restaurants in Cabo for same or less. The rooms even lack basics like coffee machines and kettle. It very much feels like they are nickel and dimming at every corner. You definitely pick up on the fact that they know their location is a bit inconveniently far from the better food options and are taking full advantage of having a captive audience with very limited near by options. The hotel itself was OK, but anything involving food was either mediocre or designed to gouge guests who were captive because of the hotels isolation. The breakfast buffet was meager, and though we had paid extra for it in our reservation, we were still charged $12 each day as a service fee (it was a buffet!) : there was little protein like meats and lots and lots of bread, buns and things like refried beans. The smoked salmon, when there was any, was jealously guarded and made available in tiny amounts. The three onsite restaurants were all geared to someone’s idea of haute cuisine—small portions, beautiful presentations and Beverly Hills prices Otherwise the hotel was clean, welcoming, with a responsive staff. What a shame about the food
