This place was a PERFECT stay. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The rooftop had great views. Room was so clean and cozy. The parking and valet is so smooth and stress free which we were happy about. And you can pretty much walk to all the touristy stuff! 10/10 will stay again.

The property and room were quite clean. Although the room was a bit small, it was still nice. The bathroom was well-maintained, and while breakfast didn’t offer many options, it was still enjoyable. Unfortunately, our request for the room to be turned over on one of the days was ignored. Other than that, it’s a great place for a short stay.

Excellent customer service from the front desk concierge. The beds where very soft and comfortable. The restaurant and bar is not open yet, but the greet you with a whiskey shot which was excellent.

I love this hotel and even applied for a job but unfortunately some associates of mine made me look bad in the light of day and I am going to make things right but they are def upset with me and our money cause of these complaints

While the property is beautiful and the estitects are exactly what we read about, the bathrooms were the issue. The toilet seat was not properly installed and came off, the Shower had no curtain or glass and no drain in the floor for a wet bathroom design, and finally the vanity was just a small sink. The bathroom was huge but had one of those same individual sinks you see in public schools. I know the hotel is in a soft opening however there are some issues still. The room setup was also weird. We could not get in on one side of the bed due to this large cabinet which apparently is where the fridge was supposed to go (labeled for it) but there was no room. Positives: Great atmosphere and rooftop area. Loved the breakfast and the very friendly staff. The parking is amazing and so close to the Chinese theater. Even with the items mentioned above we would stay there again.

The whiskey hotel was extremely clean and the ambiance was like you stepped into a wes Anderson film!the bed in the room was one the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in! Over all the stay was comfortable and the hotel was clean. I did not like that there was an unexpected amenities fee especially since the one thing the hotel was lacking was amenities. No gym spa or pool. There was no fridge in our room and we had to call for an ice bucket which didn’t even come till hours later. The bar area on the roof was fine but wish there was more food selection. Staff was all friendly. Being it is a brand new hotel I imagine they will up the amenities and food options with time. Overall the vibe, cleanliness and location was well worth the stay .

AC did not work and it was a very warm weekend. When I booked the room it said City View but there was no view No fridge They said they had fridge only for certain rooms and especially them, knowing that we were there for two nights they should have given us a room with a fridge, for How much I paid Definitely not worth it.

The hotel has been open for 1.5 months and there are lots of issues the management needs to work out. when we arrived at 4pm for our 2 night stay, our room was not ready, despite the designated check in time of 3pm. there were at least 6 other parties waiting around the lobby for clean rooms. once inside our room, we immediately noticed the AC didn’t work. staff provided a fan and someone to verify that our system was completely broken, but they would not refund our room (only the resort fee). thankfully it was a cold weekend in LA, otherwise we would have had to move hotels completely as we were told there were no other rooms available. there was not a fridge in the room despite a cabinet with the words “fridge” on it. the shower tiles were stained and disgusting (maybe they didn’t remodel the showers? they’re way more than 1.5 months old) and the water did not get hot. there was an air vent in the ceiling that was completely unfinished (think: someone just cut a ragged hole in the ceiling). the rooftop is the best part about this hotel, however the bar was not open until 5pm on a sold out saturday. the location is right off hollywood blvd, but the area is super grungy with lots of strung out folks and tourist businesses. definitely would not stay in this part of town again. close walking distance to hollywood bowl. spend a little bit more money to stay somewhere else.

I loved staying here it’s so nice and modern , the staff is so nice & it’s close to everything you need to be you can walk down to Hollywood Blvd. The only thing is the deposit and the extra charges are not good and expensive for no reason they don’t tell you about extra charges that they take from your deposit till after you check out I think that wasn’t fair for me being unaware. Definitely wasn’t happy about that at all. If you ask me if I would stay here I would think about it just because the deposit is high and the extra charges.
