Perfect for a quick stay. Lots of places near for dining. Amenities are limited. Rooms are clean. No bugs. If you have a ground floor room hope for no one above. I had very noisy people Would have complained but wanted no reprucusions. I plan on staying again but will ask for no one above

I stayed at the hotel for a single night. The experience was positive. The room was very spacious and maintained a high standard of cleanliness; the bed was notably comfortable. The hotel environment was exceptionally quiet during the night. As I occasionally encounter difficulty sleeping while traveling, I was pleasantly surprised to have a restful sleep at Valley Inn.

The young man who checked me in was very nice and helpful, and the room is huge. I was on the second floor so I did have a balcony (decent sized) with a table and two chairs, but it faced a pretty busy street so I didn't use it - I probably would have if it was on the side of the building facing the pool. The mattress was very firm, which I like. Parking was easy. Unfortunately, the physical building is a bit run down - in my room there were cracks in the ceiling, stains on the walls, lots of small wear marks on the furniture. Can't complain too much given the price I paid, but I can't imagine paying the list price for a room in that state (I got a substantial discount through expedia). The room did not have the little bar lock common on hotel doors (so it can't open past a few inches), which was a little unnerving as a solo traveler.

The staff was super friendly, including the front desk. The back-area rooms from the outside did not give a good impression. Inside the room, not bad, not horrible but for those with kids, there is no microwave, the internet was flaky, and the TV was not working properly. Likely a low battery in the remote. One thing we found was a grasshopper, and if you're in the back rooms, you'll notice a gap underneath the doors. Management if you read this, fix the gap underneath the outside doors facing the pool. Air conditioning is slow, but once you get it started, it's decent. I know I said a lot, but overall, I would come back. The location was decent; a donut shop nearby. Dollar General is within walking distance. Not bad.

Staff really friendly, but rooms were not clean, found a dead roach behind dresser, wife woke up with bites on her legs, looked like bed bug bites. Inspected the room for bed bugs did not find any. I do not recommend staying here at all.
