Very clean and spacious room, a love island style quad area with beyond friendly staff that felt truly accommodating. I would recommend parking on the street for free because there’s plenty of parking and it will save you the $38. Would definitely stay here again.

The place is good if you're looking for a classic Southern California sort of accommodations. It's far from upper end, but it is functional and sort of well-situated being close to Santa Monica, where we spent most of our evenings. It was also very close to the airport, something that was important for us.

The room was spacious and clean. The staff were accommodating and friendly. Didn’t need parking but noticed a convenient parking lot at the street level under the hotel. The Kinny is conveniently located walk distance to the beach (15-20min walk) and stores around

Our stay was very comfortable and reasonably priced, , but, the facility lacks any sort of amenities and it’s not conveniently located when it comes to meals and or entertainment. For us, it served as a more than adequate landing spot for our intended purpose.

The Kinney was a fantastic place to stay near Venice Beach! The location is perfect, and our room was clean, comfortable, and incredibly spacious. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and professional. We also loved the extra amenities—the pool area, ping-pong tables, and outdoor lounge were wonderful additions to our stay. Highly recommend!

This is an old motel that has been lightly renovated. I had to Move rooms twice because it smelled like mold so bad my eyes were watering. The rooms were comfortable but basic at best. There was hair in the shower walls. It was just a miss I wouldn’t recommend or stay again! I was actually blown away the reviews were as good as they were. It’s kinda a creepy vibe. The staff was nice and helpful.

Always a serviceable, lively stay at the Kinney. I'm always here for business so haven't had a moment to use the lovely pool and hot tub, I can see the guests enjoying themselves - couples, solo travelers, and families. Location, staff, grounds all provide excellent value. I'd say you don't get what you pay for. You get more than that at the Kinney

What a charming hotel! It’s very “Venicey”. Very thoughtful staff, immaculate room, comfy bed and great towels! I would just recommend that the carpet near the elevators be replaced when possible. I will definitely stay here again….and look forward to my return. Thank you Kinney staff for being so sweet and accommodating!

Wonderful rooms that are clean! Staff and housekeeping takes good care of you during your stay. The amenities are worth it! When I had some downtime, i laid back on the hammock and relaxed. Parking is $38/night but it is so worth it. I felt safe that my car was tucked in the garage. The drive to Santa Monica is about 20 minutes away. My sisters and I stayed here for the BTS concert at Sofi stadium, which was also a 20 min drive. To get to LAX, it’s only 10 minutes! I’d stay at this location again.
