I wanted to share my feedback regarding my recent stay. While the hotel room was clean and the staff were very pleasant, the location was disappointing. There was significant noise from nearby trains, trucks, and a factory. I would not recommend this hotel for light sleepers or anyone sensitive to noise.

The room with two queen beds was spacious. I love how the bathroom separated the two beds to give each sleeping area its own privacy. The bathroom was very clean and spacious as well. Plenty of room to move around in and not cramped like most hotels. Water pressure was great for, shower, toilet and sink. Beds were comfortable and even though it was right next to the railroad tracks, I did not hear any trains. I was able to sleep all night. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and stay here again if I had to make another trip to LA. I was very pleased with my stay.

Disliked: Amenities
Well, we didn't expect too much from a Rodeway Inn. It certainly is a low budget motel. The check-in took forever, a form had to be filled out (despite us booking online). We were handed one key card and a remote (that had to be replaced since it didn't work). The rooms are very simple but clean and have been remodeled recently (fresh paint and new doors). Again, it's a budget motel and our expectations were extremely low. It provided what we were looking for: A cheap room near a concert venue.

2 night stay, Staff was friendly, very quick interaction. The parking lot is small, maybe 12 stalls. Rooms are clean and equipped with the basics. You do hear traffic and sirens sometimes at night. There’s a harbor freight and Denny’s right across the street. Decent stay just nothing fancy or super nice about it. Easy access to the freeway and the outlets right across maybe 5-8 minutes away.

Heater didn’t work. TV would turn on. Parking difficult in a larger vehicle. Too pricey. Friendly, helpful staff, helped get TV working through different remotes and eventually switching rooms.

Not bad, not bad at all.

No frills no thrills but very clean and conveniently located. At first I was skeptical but it won me over by being very clean and priced appropriately.

It’s extremely convenient. The location is right by the freeway so it’s easy to go in and out, free parking and the bedding was very clean and smelled good. The bad, noisy location and noisy old AC, you have to give cash deposit for the remote and room key. Good place to just crash for the night.

Not recommended!

Do not use this hotel. The reception is behind a plastic screen & the woman behind the screen was not very friend or helpful. The property was undergoing remodelling so didnt look great. The room although clean had no toiletries, coffee machine or safe. The beds were hard. It was a long way from the centre although there was a bus service (261 & 262) to the yellow metro line. Dennys across the road was good with friendly staff. We would not recommend thisvhitel- get somewgere nearer to the centre!

First, I want to praise experian. I had messed up and booked for the wrong day. I had booked for the next day and not the day of. The first agent said they were able to change the dates, it seems like he forgot to do something as when I checked in it said my card declined, but the second agent was able to quickly fix the issue for me. So great response and resolution times. I don't blame the hotel much for any noise because the location is next to a freeway, but it seems like that the doors are not that well insulated as there was a visible gap under the door and I dont know about the windows. The entrance to drive in is very narrow and an exit and entrance. Its nice that they provide fridges the rooms. But they are not properly maintenanced. They did not have an auto defroster built in so there was huge ice build up. I unplugged it for them to defrost it. I had put a small towel in there to catch water, but it wasn't enough so some water spilled (this is important). Even then, not too bothered. Beds are pretty comfortable and seem clean. What really got to me is that I had booked this for 3 people, but the room only had 2 full sized towels. The third ended up making other arrangements, but i went and asked for more towels anyway to clean up the spilt water. When I asked, she told me only 2 people were supposed to be in there. After some back and forth about needing the towels to clean up spilled water she finally gave me some (small) towels. Only issue I've had so far.
