The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Watched TV with no issue. A special mention: they were nice enough to let me leave my stuff for a few hours so I could walk around the area after checking out. Thanks to the nice staff for a pleasant stay. I recommend a stay for an inexpensive, low-key experience.

I like the easy check in and out. The room floors were dirty and there was no hair dryer in the room. I asked the lobby and they didn't have any either. Other than that it was a pleasant stay. Will return if I'm in the area.

Smell frombthe conditioner was awful, the system itself was not functioning properly, microwave was not functioning, bathroom didnt have any amenities, requested to warm up my soup but nothing. Take it off your list its not worth being there...hey its a place for by the hour clients, if you know ehat i mean...

First room given to us had roaches waiting for us on top of the bed. They switched us rooms and this one came with stained sheets and pillows with the surprise of not having hot water all night. Staff was unable to provide useful information as to when we will get hot water. Front desk would not accommodate a discount. Very unhelpful and unapologetic

Rooms at this M6 are always dirty, have to many roaches, my room had a pet odor, microwave and refrigerator were dirty, AC was noisy and way to expensive for room conditions...disgusting.

I booked this for an employee that was broke down near by and she was unable to stay her due to the filthy and disrepair of this hotel. We had to find other accommodations for her, STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

Everything was very dirty and many basics where in a bad state. Our shower head sprayed the water almost everywhere but where it needed to. Gaps everywhere, door, flooring, and walls. You can hear people moving around and the walk ways need to be cleaned. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice though.

I booked this room for one night despite the mixed reviews, since I’ve stayed at other Motel 6 locations in the LA area that were decent. Unfortunately, this experience was terrible. The bedding was dirty and stained (I have photos), the bathroom floor was not cleaned and smelled strongly of urine, and I even found roaches in both the room and the bathroom (also documented with photos). On top of that, I reserved a room with two double beds but was only given one face towel and one bath towel. When I asked for more, the staff refused. Overall, this was an awful stay. Save yourself the stress—DO NOT BOOK HERE.

ILLEGAL HARASSMENT

The manger was outside the property, did not identify himself, was harassing me, and called me racist multiple times. I booked a two day stay and left after the first day due to this situation. I want a full refund for the entire stay or I will file a lawsuit against Motel6 Monterey Park and Hotels.com.

Motel 6 from the ghetto

I just needed a place to shower....looks like a run down motel 6...not sure if motel 6 headquarters would accept a run down motel from the ghetto and this was at Monterey Park. Shower was dirty and one of the bathroom towels had hair on it. But there is room for improvement. They just need to clean the place up. Check in was ok and quick. Wasn't expecting a $50 check in fee. Wish it was included on hotel.com. I'll head back to motel 6 but at a different location.

Motel 6 is our go-to for reliable accommodations. The customer service is always good, the amenities we need for our stay always available, location and proximity to our activities and events, and the price is reasonable.
