We never saw an employee during our stay, but since I have social anxiety I won't complain! Overall well worth the stay, hotel is in a cool part of long beach with lots of cool restaurants. Reasonably priced with a deal for parking as well.

I didn't see a gym or pool. I loved the location. Convenience store directly across the street and a fun place to eat kittycorner. Dropping off our luggage was difficult as there was nowhere to park. Parking your car is a block away, a very easy walk. The surprise was no elevator. It was difficult carrying our luggage up and down the stairs.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Metropolitan. The room was beautiful and clean, the bed was so comfortable, and I requested a room with a bathtub which was large and relaxing. It also came with coffee and oatmeal! We will definitely stay again.

Once you figure out the parking, which I highly suggest going with what they offer, it's great. It's an older building but we'll maintained and within walking distance to everything we personally like to do while in Long Beach.
