Great place to crashout for sleep

Dicarlo checked me in and made me feel welcome, hes a gentleman and a scholar. Place was comfortable enough that I went straight to sleep without intending to, bed was that comfortable.

At first I didn’t know what to expect, but the hostel was nice. I was able to catch up on sleep on my 12 hour layover. There’s quite a few eateries and CVS within walking distance! Very convenient too.

The host was really nice and the room was clean. But the second floor bathroom was broken so all the people in the hostel had just one bathroom to use which was a bit uncomfortable and led to long bathroom queues

This is the second time that i had stayed here. The first one was very pleasant and did not have any problem thats why i booked again for my stay but this time is kinda disappointing. I stayed in the same room and my first time was better than my stay now and noticed that the beddings had not been changed and was obviously not changed from the last person who had used that room as i had been bitten by a lot of bed bugs all over my hands and arms. Also, now they dont provide anymore towel or even blanket, they now charge it extra which i find it ridiculous. Posted at the main door is a sign that says call the number when you arrive which no one answers so pray that someone is inside when you arrive to open the door for you. The only plus is that the area is still safe as i have even walked around the area at night. The kitchen is neat, bathroom/restroom is clean.

Overall, my experience was satisfactory given the affordable rate. It felt safer compared to other similarly priced motels. However, our private room was adjacent to a shared space, which required us to pass through that area to reach ours. Additionally, the shower on our floor was out of service. Despite these issues, the manager was very friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean. Essentially, it’s a case of getting what you pay for.
