We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. We liked it so much that we booked it for our post-cruise stay as well as our original pre-cruise stay over. Good value. It’s particularly good if you have a car. But there are food and shopping options within walking distance including Target.

Parking could use some work but they are trying to keep the underground secure. Atm they have hired security for afterhours parking assistance. The area is a bit run down. The hotel staff are wonderful and you can see that they are doing a lot of renovations and improvements. Breakfast was great and has good hours. I was even able to get something printed by front desk which I appreciated. Check in and out was fast.

The property did feel safe and I appreciated the guest parking that was behind a gate and the parking garage being locked after hours. And I appreciated that the parking was included in the price. My room did smell a bit like smoke so that was unfortunate. It could use some updating but overall was a good place to stay. The area around the hotel was close to a shopping center and food, which was convenient.

Staff was nice & had good parking. The room wasn’t too big or small. For some reason the lights and tv kept flickering, which felt creepy. And the lights near the doors kept turning off by itself. Not just that, the pipes through the walls kept making loud noises. I had a good stay but wasn’t the best hotel I stayed at.

They had a wide variety on breakfast items, that was nice, including the option of hot chocolate. I only wish the eggs were not the generic kind but real eggs, would make it excellent. Parking felt safe.
