Good location. Property very old, seems ownership doesn’t want to invest any money. Seemed quite empty, saw very few other guests. Hot water basically not available, mildly warm in the sink, shower stayed permanently cold.

LA Grand

All cuisine was Korean ( not a surprise I guess) but some attempt to offer Western alternatives would have been nice. The air conditioning had two settings, off or noisy and there was no option to open a window.

The staff were very kind and accommodating. Parking space is a little tight but there weren’t many cars so it wasn’t a problem. Hotel is also close to a lot of good restaurants.

While the heater is on, it makes a really loud sound so don’t be surprised when it wakes you up. There is no hot water so you might catch a cold after a shower; even after they fix it.

During our stay, the air conditioning wasn’t working, the shower wouldn’t get hot, and the worst moment was the lights going out. The power outage was not the fault of the hotel, it was a full block power outage, BUT we were getting ready at 6:30 am so when the power went out there was very limited outside light to help guide. We found the emergency staircase using our phone flashlights and found that the stairwell was full of tables and chairs being stored by the hotel. This is obviously unsafe. The other issues were pretty minor in comparison, but I can’t say I would recommend a stay here. The windows also wouldn’t lock, and they led directly to roof access. Overall, it just is not a safe place to stay.
