Stay was wonderful and checkin/checkout was very smooth. Requested towels/bed sheet and was given very fast. Room was clean on arrival / housekeeping was always around in the daytime and very friendly! Only thing why i knocked one star down was the mini fridge made noises at night off and on and was kinda loud but it wasnt too bad.. and there was small spider in the bathroom on our check out day . But im just glad it wasnt a cockroach or bedbug thats all. Anyway service was great and location in ktown was perfect. So close to all the food spots and markets!

Clean room, good parking . One thing disappointed that I booked non smoking room, but it stink just like someone had smoked in the room. Good thing we could open the window.

I was looking for a LA hotel that is in driving distance to UCLA and have free parking. There are not many options, especially for the UCLA move in week. OLYVER Hotel meets all what I need for this trip. The parking lot is staffed with security and is very safe. There are plenty of parking spaces and I never saw the lot full. Room is clean and large. Easy access to all major attractions. Strongly recommend to others that who have similar needs. I will come back when I visit LA again.

The room was small but clean, and the staff was very nice and helpful. I thought it was weird that when we arrived to our room, it was propped wide open with a wooden door stop. I would have preferred a locked door when arriving to my room. The bathroom was tiny and the shower head wasn’t even tall enough to go over my head (I’m only 5’6) so I had to bend slightly to wash my hair. And the water pressure was non existent. They do serve a light spread for a snack-like breakfast. It’s very simple, only apples, oranges, prepackaged muffins and prepackaged pastries. Plus coffee and juice. The coffee was good though! Overall, the surrounding area near this hotel feels very sketchy and not very safe. We saw lots of homelessness and people doing drugs on the sidewalks surrounding the hotel. We often heard sirens through the windows, and it wasn’t very sound proof as we heard everything going on in the streets. The parking was very accessible, and mostly gated, plus they had a staff member patrolling outside every time we parked so that helped in regard to safety. Overall it was a good price but I don’t know that it’s a place I would come again. As a side note, the hotel has instructions and things written in a language that’s not English (I’m assuming it’s Korean) but that made it slightly harder as a native English speaker. This hotel is definitely intended to host people who speak (I’m assuming) Korean and all the staff had heavy accents. But again, they were all incredibly help
