Very nice place. Beautiful lobby with lively bar that serves good basic reasonably priced breakfast food in the morning. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. A little bit of a hike from center of old town, but worth the walk, and quite close to Cal Tech.

Loved our stay! Very relaxing and the pool was wonderful. Will definitely be back. The hotel is in a great area for walking to restaurants or shopping. I also loved the 1930’s feel of the common areas. You can see that a lot of thought was put into the design of this hotel. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We arrived an hour before check in and they got us in our room right a way. 10 out of 10 hotel.

Great location for us. Beautiful lobby and outside courtyard. Close to transit and the places we wanted to be. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are pretty small but the furniture is engineered to make the most of the space and we didn’t spend much time in the room. The bathroom was renovated and that’s a big plus. The hallway carpet looked past its due date- replacing that would make the hotel feel more elegant rather than slightly dated.
