Room was clean, only issues were not enough hangers, and no microwave in the room or on site. Rear parking was a plus, never didn’t have a space but then again it wasn’t a busy weekend in LA. Door dash delivered to the door so that was good. If you need a place to stay and don’t need too many frills this is a good pick, way better than expected. Glad I didn’t pick the one down further on Sunset that place wasn’t this place by far!!

Towels seem a bit shabby and thread bare. Bathroom light very dim; good luck shaving or doing makeup! Remember the body wash and liquid hand soap that seem to have become standard in the hotel/hospitality industry? Well this hotel is quite the maverick! Good luck making their soap last one day. TV apps never worked. If it’s evening, then it’s probably a good time to cut that coffee habit because the coffee machine only works in the morning. If you’re a deep sleeper, you’ll do fine. Otherwise, sweet dreams with those very small, very thin pillows. Oh, yeah, pros: Strong A/C, Convenient, safe parking, Convenient location, Staff very responsive, Price, especially compared to the insane rates in the area.

The best thing about this hotel is definitely location, and price for the location it’s in. The room was spacious and for the most part, clean. Bed was comfortable, though we could have used some tables/places to put our stuff on, like toiletries etc. The alley to the parking lot is very narrow, and the parking lot is small. Staff was nice and we felt safe. Older hotel but overall good experience. Would stay again.

The amenities were pretty limited. No drinkable cold water provided, one small all in one shampoo and conditioner packet per person per night. Additional packets were given upon request. The room was clean, one thing was the toilet seat which didn't appear to be cleaned properly. We had to place tissue on it each time using it.

There was not enough light in the room to read or write which are things I do on vacation. The room had a B-movie vibe. It was big and they serviced it daily. I would probably stay there again. It's in a good location. They just need to go across the street to Target and buy some lamps.

I stayed here recently and would rate it 3/5 overall. The room was large and clean, and the staff were friendly, which I appreciated. It also looks like they are in the process of renovating, so there is some effort being made to improve the property. However, the room itself was very bare-bones and lacked some basic functionality. There was nowhere to hang clothes, so I had to go across the street to buy hangers and use the shower rod. The bathroom had no counter space at all, which made it difficult to organize anything. There was also no coffee machine or microwave in the room—only a fridge. Coffee in the lobby was inconsistent; sometimes it was available, sometimes not. Parking was one of the biggest issues. If you leave at night and return late, it’s very difficult to find a spot. Street parking requires feeding meters early in the morning, and the nearest garage is about a 20+ minute walk, which isn’t practical. The lighting setup in the room was also inconvenient. There was no bedside lamp, and the main lights had to be turned off at the door, leaving you to walk back to bed in the dark. Overall, it’s a clean place with friendly staff and decent space, but the lack of basic amenities and inconvenient parking make it hard to rate higher at this time.

A Place Of This And That...

The rooms are spacious... the walls are thin. The beds are worthy... there's no bed side lamp. The water is good hot and the tub large... I had to use the washcloth as the stopper. The first night I was given rm. 103 which is too very near the entrance frontdesk and noisy. At least the manager gave rm. 210 for the rest of my stay.
