I had very loud neighbors ruining the overall piece and experience. The property itself is good and I would book again. FYI the floors should be mopped on each house keeping service as they are actually quit dirty with hair debris etc. other than that no bad.

Very Clean Room but very noisy area. Couldn’t sleep well with all the noises (Cars, Alarms, Music). Walls are thin, so you can hear almost everything going on.

The check in process was good. However, when we went to our car to get our things there was a crazy man shouting and getting close to us. The hotel room is lovely. The shutters are such a nice touch. Big room too. There was shampoo and conditioner which is always nice. 5 pillows on the bed which is fantastic! There were people fighting outside and sirens going by often but felt safe as long as we were in the room. So overall, the property was nice and they really cant do anything about the location and people that stay there.

This is an older hotel that has been updated. Parking is reasonable at $10. The building and rooms are very clean. There is a fridge but no microwave in room. The bedside lighting is an led strip that runs on top of the headboard and is operated by a switch on the nightstand. There is a desk and chair. The bed itself was firm. The area isn’t the best but we took the bus to (download the TAP app to pay before boarding) and walked back from the Kia Forum for an evening concert. That said I would not suggest anyone who may appear frail, scared or vulnerable do the walk back. We had planned to get a ride share but at approximately $70 for a ride of about a mile we decided to walk. We later discovered there were several couples who made the same choice. The Hollywood Express LAX is a clean, minimalistic hotel in a rougher neighborhood.
