Amazing location, 1 block from the beach 2 blocks from the Santa Monica pier and just a block or 2 from the Main Street shopping promenade. Bike rentals around the corner for $20/day. 10 min bike ride to Venice beach. The facilities were very clean and the staff were friendly and seemed invested in their jobs —rare to see nowadays. It was a great stay!

Hostels have come along way since my last stay 30 years ago. Such a clean and well maintained facility. Highly recommend for budget travelers. Local restaurants easily accessible and the ocean is a stone’s throw away.

Great location. Clean well maintained building. The staff were ok, but not engaging-not a social hostel. The rooms could also use a night light. The choice was full bright, or total darkness. I'd definitely recommend this hostel if you travel to LA. Public transportation was quick and easy from the airport or train station

Overall a great hostel. Staff is there all the time to answer questions, feels very safe and everything is clean. My only note is that the bunk beds don’t have curtains like lots of other hostels, so the privacy could be improved

This was our first time staying in a Hostel. We chose a double room for just us and had the space needed. It was not luxurious or a large room, but everthing was clean, had what we needed, and we would stay again! Every employee was very nice.

The staff are friendly and there is 24-hour coffee and tea courtesy, bathrooms and showers are very clean and towels are there. It's close to the beach and tour buses and Boston stations.
