I liked the view of the city and restaurant around the area the rooftop view and the pool and loved the hotel inside the only thing I didn't like was that the TV is cable you can't watch Hulu or Netflix but other than that it was great I would stay here again

We arrived very early before our check in time and the staff were very helpful and understanding. They stowed our bags for us and arranged an early check in, which we really appreciated. The breakfast at the hotel was good but a little more expensive than we anticipated because there was an 18% service fee.

The Freehand is a good Hotel. The staff stands out. Friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about the area. The surrounding area nightlife is a bit robust but playful. The rooftop pool and restaurant was a welcomed highlight of me and my teenage Son. Overall The Freehand charming motif made for a very pleasant experience.

The hotel is very clean and the people are super nice. The roof top is so charming. The area of LA around the hotel is a little "interesting" and there is public parking around the corner. I thought the amenities fee was ridiculous since we didn't use any of the amenities.
