We always stay at the Encore when we visit family in Venice Beach. The location for us is great, although the area around the motel is a little rundown. The staff is wonderful. Beds are comfy. Parking is easy. The small kitchenette is a bonus. The place is starting to show its age and could do with some paint, small repairs, and sprucing up. But, overall, it's safe, comfortable, and a good deal.

Don’t be deceived by its outside appearance for sure. The manager, Jeff, is an excellent chap and the rooms were well maintained and most importantly, very clean as well. Will pick this nice little motel anytime in future for my short personal stay trip around the area.

Accommodated me after booking the wrong date last minute. Only problem was the lack of a latched lock on the door. Room was nice and clean with a comfy bed. Parking is a little tight if you have an SUV or full size truck.

Excellent Location, but Overall Disappointing Stay

The Encore Hotel in Marina Del Rey offers an excellent location, which was the highlight of our visit. The bed was reasonably comfortable, but the overall experience fell short of expectations. The property could benefit from better upkeep and greater attention to detail, as the atmosphere felt somewhat neglected. While we initially chose the Encore for its price, even at the current rate we would likely explore other options in the area for future stays.
