The one thing we appreciated was the location. If you are traveling through Los Angeles by train, this is the perfect place to stay. It is not easy to find a safe place to stay so near Union Station, and we learned this the hard way. It is worth a few extra $ to stay here.

Very helpful staff and good amenities. Room was spotless and up to date, with just enough room for one person. Internet access was easy and reliable. Rooftop garden was attractive and relaxing. Minor maintenance issues: The exterior shower handle was loose, but I was easily able to remedy this by tightening the connector. Also, one of the window locks was nonfunctional, leaving the window permanently unlocked. This was not a safety issue, as the window tracks are blocked to allow the windows to open only a few inches and it's impossible to fall out, but it would have been nice to be able to lock the window.
