We have stayed at this hotel several times in the last few years. The owners have freshened up the rooms and the hotel itself. They updated flooring and painted the rooms. The rooms are generally clean and with the fresh paint, nice enough. For us the hotel is satisfactory with the bonus of being in a central location for Manhattan beach. We like the fact that it is a non franchised property.

This hotel is just fine. Let me explain. If you are coming from out of town you are not suppose to be cooped up in that room anyways. It is in a perfect location close to plenty of food and stores. The deposit is only $100 and parking was $10 a night for the garage which in my opinion is reasonable. There’s not a lot of chain hotels in Los Angeles to begin with and the ones that are there are going to charge an arm and a leg.

It has a central location. Fast food close. Parking has to pay extra $25 per night. Room customers has to request cleaning every day. The price is to high for your services. Graffiti at parking and elevator, you have a feeling no to secure.

Nick at the front desk was very friendly. The staff was nice. The room was updated. The sheets were fresh and crisp. The floor was a bit dirty though which could be improved. Other than that, it’s fine for a budget stay.

The room was a good size and the bed was good. There where sugar ants all over the floor, the small refrigerator was dirty and there was no place to hang towels to dry properly. With such a small offering for breakfast the least they could do is provide lids for the coffee cups. Lastly, the staff was umcommunitive and didn't seem to want to be there or deal with hotel guests.

The room was clean and everything worked. But, there was no where to hang clothes. Also in check in, there were no towels in the room. I had to look for the house keepers to get towels. I asked for a linen and towel change got the second day. Only got towels. The location was convenient, free street parking was good, and the price was okay. But I doubt I’ll be back.
