Rooms had hardwood floors which are very noisy. We had a rude neighbor and it made for a sleepless night. Biggest problem were the ants we found in the bed when we woke up. We got moved to a new room, but ants in the bathroom there too, but a little easier to deal with. Would NOT reccommend this facility.

When I arrived at the hotel, I let the front desk staff know that I had a friend coming and even gave them her name so they could provide her with a room key. I had already paid for the room at this time. When my guest arrived, they asked her for her ID and her CC. She gave them her CC and they charged her for the room as well. She was unaware as to why they asked her for her card but she handed it over thinking it was needed as a second form of ID only for the employee to let her know that she was charged for the room AFTER they had swiped her card. When my guest stated that the room was already paid for, the employee apologized and was adamant that she would not be charged and that she canceled her transaction. The next morning when we went to check out, we let them know that they did in fact charge us both for the room and that the transaction was not voided on her card. A different front desk employee was working at this time and was very rude and asked us to wait for him to figure it out as he was "too busy". Long story short, after talking to him about the situation, he ensured that one of the charges would be refunded. It is now 4 days after the stay and both cards still have a charge for the SAME room. I am not sure as to why they charged my guest's card after receiving my payment and it may have been an honest mistake but the lack of professionalism and knowledge from the employees as to why this happened was very off-putting.
