The room was always cleaned ever day. There were no additional amenities. The staff was very helpful. The location of the property was close to where we were going everday, however it was in a questionable area. Overall I would stay there if you weren't expecting any amenities and just needed a good room to sleep.

I was a solo traveler, and the room itself was standard. Pretty roomy for one person with a king bed. I like that the room has a mini-fridge, but I wish there was a hair dryer. No toiletries in the room except for bars of hand soap. The property itself was not the cleanest, there was a urine smell in certain areas, notable around the stairs. The neighborhood is kind of sketchy. Staff were friendly, quick, and efficient in checking me in and out during my stay. I liked that the office is open 24/7 and there is a coffee maker and microwave inside for guests to use at any time. Despite the negatives, I'd stay here again for a quick visit if I just need a place to sleep and nothing else.

It has everything you need, bed, bathroom and TV. AC did run cold the 5 days I was there. Room service was top notch in getting clean towels and keeping the room picked up. Multiple public transportation located nearby so getting around the city was pretty easy. It's a nice, clean place that offers great value.

If you're looking for a place to just lay your head for the night this could be your place. If you're looking for comfort, look elsewhere. The room smelled like cigarettes, the shower and toilet were dirty and there were lots of noise through the night. When I searched for the rooms, I indicated 2 adults and 3 children, somehow it got booked as 1 adult and 3 kids and we had to pay an additional $50 at check-in. Parking is extremely tight so if you have a large suv, do not stay here.

I had a frustrating experience at Motel 6 in downtown Los Angeles. I booked my stay through Hotels.com and already paid close to $200, only to be hit with an unexpected $25 charge at check-in. The issue? The reservation was apparently for one person, even though I arrived with two. Instead of being understanding or trying to work with me, the front desk insisted on charging an additional fee in cash. There was no flexibility, no effort to help, and no clear communication beforehand that this would be enforced so strictly. When I contacted customer service, I was basically told that because I booked through a third-party, the hotel can charge whatever additional fees they want. That’s pretty disappointing and feels like a lack of transparency. Overall, the experience felt more like a money grab than customer service. Be very careful when booking here—make sure every single detail is exactly right, or you might end up paying more than expected.

The room cleanliness was OK. I had a reservation for 6 nights. Because of changes in my travel plans, I tried to cancel my original reservation for 6 nights and just stay 3 nights. The hotel manager would not allow me to do that even though I let him know of my situation after my first night at Motel 6. This is very unfair. I still left the motel after 3 nights. In addition, I was awaken in the middle of the night several times by police car sirens and firetruck sirens. Also, one morning I was awaken at 5:00 am by someone shouting very loud. He kept on coming back and shouting every 5 min for the following 2 hours. The location is unsafe. I did not feel secure at all. Around the hotel location, there were many homeless people living in small huts on the sidewalk. It smelled terrible going by these sites. Overall, I would strongly discourage someone to stay at this hotel. It felt very unsafe. In addition, the hotel manager did not want to work with you. It was not a pleasant stay overall.
